Pasiones acquires U.S. Premiere of Turkish Hit Drama ‘Kördügüm’

Pasiones has acquired the exclusive U.S. rights for the Spanish-language premiere of the successful Turkish series Kördügüm (“Intersection”), which will make its U.S. debut on Tuesday, October 31, at 7pm ET/4pm PT.

Set in the city of Istanbul, Kördügüm is a dramatic love story that examines contemporary relationships, the divide between rich and poor, and the financial and moral commitments of love. The story follows Naz, a young pediatrician, and Umut, a talented and ambitious automotive designer, who fell in love as teenagers and were forced to marry when Naz became pregnant. However, after the baby was stillborn, Naz’s despair led to the hard decision not to have any more children. Faced with heartache and a drive to succeed at work, their marriage starts to deteriorate after a wealthy young businessman comes into their lives.
