American Express x Lin-Manuel Miranda campaign en Español

Lin-Manuel is truly emblematic of the American Express brand. He is someone deeply committed to his local communities – including Washington Heights, a neighborhood in the northernmost part of Manhattan, where he grew up and now lives with his family.

On Monday, September 17th, American Express is rolling out – this Spanish version of the ad via media such as Telemundo.  This is the first Spanish Language American Express execution targeting US Hispanics.

This is a spot about the power of supporting communities – not just the ones we are born into, but the ones that we create for ourselves. Because when our communities thrive, so do we.

The way Lin-Manuel lives his life is a testament to the belief that remembering our beginnings is what makes us better teachers, friends, creators and ultimately, people. Everything about this spot is 100% genuine to Lin-Manuel’s life – the people, the places, even his dog, Tobillo. The majority of it was filmed in his neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan.
