Universe launches “RETRO JUEVES

With the slogan “Recordar es Vivir” (To Remember is To Live), UNIVERSO premieres “Retro Jueves” (Retro Thursday), a new weekly programming block airing Thursdays during primetime, starting April 30 at 7pm/6c. The block features the return of iconic U.S. Spanish-language TV hits from the early 2000s to provide viewers with fan-favorite classics and a #TBT-inspired look at their beloved celebrities’ first breakthrough roles, with the following line-up

• “Caso Cerrado” (2003) at 7pm/6c – The early episodes of the famous classic courthouse-style reality show presented by the beloved Dr. Ana Maria Polo.
•     “Protagonistas de Novela 2” (2003) at 9pm/8c– One of the most successful and exciting U.S. Hispanic reality shows, where viewers can relive all the drama and career-launching moments of celebrities like Erick Elias, William Levy and Ximena Duque, among others.
•     “Decisiones” (2005) at 10pm/9c – Inspired by true stories of people who were pushed to their breaking points, the show brings back the drama and passion featuring unique standalone stories in each episode.
•     “Sala de Parejas” (2001) at 11pm/10c –  The first court show hosted by Dr. Ana Maria Polo, who quickly won over the hearts of viewers, which served as the inspiration for Telemundo’s hit show “Caso Cerrado con la Dra. Ana Maria Polo.”
