Barroso named VP of Amplification Captura Group

Captura Group announced that trailblazer Andreina Barroso has joined the team as Vice President of Amplification. She will lead Captura Group’s Amplification capabilities including paid media, influencer marketing, public relations, shopper marketing, experiential and community engagement.

Barroso will broaden the agency’s ability to reach consumers across multiple touchpoints and bring an enhanced offering for our clients. “While paid media is still instrumental to deliver and amplify creative content, consumers interact with brands across multiple touchpoints on the path to purchase. By expanding our Amplification capabilities under Andreina’s leadership, we’re bringing a channel-agnostic view of the consumer journey to drive our creative message to the right audience, at the right time and in the right context,” explained Walter Boza, President and General Manager of Captura Group.

Barroso brings over 15 years of marketing experience, including leadership roles in strategy, account management, media and shopper marketing, with a focus on the US Hispanic audience. She has also succeeded as an entrepreneur —as a partner of Hispanicize Media Group, as part of the leadership team at Advantage Sales and Marketing’s MASS Hispanic Shopper Agency and most recently, as the owner of her own marketing consultancy. She has broad and deep expertise in developing and executing integrated multi-touchpoint programs for clients such as Unilever, Nestlé, Pepsi, Clorox, Walmart, McDonald’s, Sprint, and L’Oréal, among others.

“I am beyond excited to be joining this talented group of professionals to help further develop our channel amplification capabilities,” said Barroso. “I feel fortunate to be part of an agency that has always been at the cutting edge of digital marketing, and has now expanded to a full-service model while keeping a digital-first approach. What I love about Captura Group is our commitment to delivering excellence and results to our clients.”

Barroso will report directly to Boza and will play an instrumental role in driving the agency’s vision. “Bringing Andreina to Captura Group consolidates a first-class leadership team. We are seeing tremendous growth for clients who are employing our proven Hispanic and digital-first approach and anticipate this growth to continue to accelerate into the future. We will also continue to make strategic investments in the right talent and tools to help our clients harness this opportunity,” said Boza.
