The new season of DocuFilms with María Celeste Arrarás starts off at 9 PM (ET) and Don Francisco: Reflexiones returns with its second season with compelling interviews at 10 PM(ET)

Docufilms with María Celeste Arrarás premieres with the presentation of a documentary that shows a less familiar side of Florida, far from the well-known beaches considered by many a vacation paradise. It is about an inland Florida, poorer and gloomy. A Florida that resembles a lunar landscape, with thousands of acres of land drilled for phosphate mining. Hardee County, Florida. The original documentary entitled The Invisible Enemy is an investigation of mining waste and radioactive rocks.

On the other hand, Don Francisco: Reflexiones will offer new chapters of interviews with more than 30 prominent guests with whom the popular host will reflect on those intimate issues that most concern us every day.

As in the first season, the common denominator of the program will be the human sensitivity of the conversations, which will be developed through the personal stories of the interviewees, combined with the unique experience of the famous host. The first edition of this new season will show a different side of Colombian singer-songwriter and music star Sebastián Yatra.

A new feature of this second season will be the presence of the audience, which will join the program through a “virtual cloud” representing the different countries of the continent. The audience will have an active participation in the program, directly asking questions to the guests and giving their opinion on the topics of conversation proposed for each week.

Also, part of this slot is Oppenheimer Presenta, CNN en Español’s analysis program hosted by Andrés Oppenheimer, co-winner of the Pulitzer Prize, King of Spain Award, star columnist for The Miami Herald and author of several international best sellers. This week, for the premiere of Domingo de Gigantes, Oppenheimer Presenta will feature former U.S. President Barack Obama and rock superstar Bruce Springsteen discussing his new book Renegades.

En diálogo con Longobardi, the talk show hosted by award-winning Argentine journalist Marcelo Longobardi, an Emmy Award nominee in 2020, presents this Sunday an interview with former Argentine President Mauricio Macri just days before the country’s legislative elections. Longobardi will talk to the former President about the outlook prior to the elections, the court case for alleged espionage for which he is currently being investigated, the future of Argentina, and many other topics.

Meanwhile, Mirador Mundial, presented by Rafael Romo, is CNN en Español’s live weekend newscast, covering global news with an emphasis on Latin America that is shaping the course of history. Romo has covered major news stories live from the scene such as the Puerto Rico earthquakes in 2020 and the collapse of a residential building in Miami in the summer of 2021.
