Diverse Talent Management Agency Talento Unlimited Expands Ownership Team with George “Urban Jibaro” Torres

Miami-based Talento Unlimited, a boutique Hispanic talent management, content strategy & event sponsorship consultancy, announced the addition of a new equity partner, legendary content creator and small business strategist George “Urban Jibaro” Torres.

Torres is well-respected among the multicultural community and marketing circles as a change agent and award-winning dynamic storyteller, producer and workshop facilitator who elevates Latino culture and drives social media visibility for brand partners and non-profit organizations. He is the creator and founder of Sofrito For Your Soul, the first Latino storytelling website to celebrate the community’s history and add context to our legacy. In the midst of the pandemic, Torres he launched Siembra Academy,- a consultancy that works with independent creators to help jumpstart their marketing and further build upon their audience reach as well as a social media strategy support arm for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

“With the creator economy in full swing driving growth among independent voices that help push consumers on social platforms to support new causes, try a new product or be informed about current events without turning to traditional media channels, brands and organizations continue relying more on diverse influencers to bridge such communications. These trends have propelled our boutique talent management, content strategy & event sponsorship consultancy, to continue its expansion plans with George’s partnership” said Talento Unlimited Founder Cristy Clavijo-Kish.

Clavijo-Kish worked directly with Torres during her tenure with Hispanicize event and DiMe Media where together they spearheaded major brand sponsorship activations and produced social media campaigns with national appeal across many local Latino communities.

“Since launching in late 2019, George has been supporting our growing business not only as a talent partner but also from a strategic consultancy standpoint leading content strategy for many of our branded campaigns,” said Clavijo-Kish. “As we continue expanding business partnerships for our diverse roster of talent, content creators and LIVE events, George is an essential asset that will help drive stronger ROI and success.”

“By combining my small business development acumen with the Talento team’s expertise in building content creator campaigns and negotiating contracts for talent speaking opportunities, promotions and event sponsorships, we will continue to build successful programs via cultural fluidity and deep community ties,” added Torres. “We are looking at truly unlimited opportunity here as we grow with creators and brands alike.”

Among Talento Unlimited’s current talent roster are:

  • Two-time Olympic silver medalist and current LA Dodger Eddy Alvarez
  • Spanish-language lifestyle creators and TV hostesses Anabelle Blum and Astrid Rivera
  • New York chef Ronaldo Linares
  • LA-based “Hungry Latina” chef Isabel Perayra
