Enrique Pérez named Head of Partnerships & Client Solutions at The Latin Recording Academy

The Latin Recording Academy has appointed Enrique Pérez to lead its newly-formed Partnerships and Client Solutions team at the organization, effective immediately. As part of this new structure, he will be tasked with growing existing partnerships with corporate clients and brands, as well as expanding and developing new marketing properties and platforms. Pérez and his team, previously known as the Business Development group, will collaborate across all Latin Academy departments to oversee the creation and execution of customized consumer marketing campaigns.

“We are excited to welcome Enrique to our executive team,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “His extensive experience in Latin entertainment will no doubt help solidify our long-term and year-round initiatives to create a deeper connection between The Latin Academy, its marketing partners and music lovers worldwide.”

With a career spanning more than two decades, Pérez most recently served as President of EP Media Group — the media consulting company that he founded in 2019 — where he collaborated with leading and emerging content and entertainment companies with deep expertise in the Hispanic and the multi-cultural markets. Prior to launching EP Media Group, he was Executive Vice President of Azteca América’s Television Station Group, and was responsible for all facets of the company’s fourteen stations, including its expansion into digital properties. He has also held a variety of leadership roles at Telemundo/NBC Universal, MTV Latin America and Radio Única Communications, among others. Born to Cuban parents in Athens, Ohio, Pérez graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast management from Northern Arizona University.

In his new role, Pérez will report directly to Abud.
