Telemundo Leads as the Most-Watched Spanish-Language Network in Primetime Year‑to‑Date Across Key Demos

Telemundo reinforces its leadership in 2026, wrapping up the February broadcast month as the #1 Spanish‑language network in Monday–Sunday primetime year‑to‑date among both Adults 18–49 and total viewers, according to Nielsen.
Driven by the success of Exatlón Estados Unidos, Dinastía Casillas and Lejos de Ti, Telemundo averaged 339,000 Adults 18-49 and 1.1 million total viewers in primetime year-to-date. The network also experienced double-digit growth versus the same period in 2025, with increases of +13% and +17% among the demos, respectively. In addition, Telemundo maintains its Sunday-night primetime dominance, delivering 379,000 Adults 18-49 and 1.1 million total viewers, outperforming Univision by +78% and +66%, respectively.
Telemundo also continues to be the most-watched Spanish-language network in weekday afternoons (1pm-5pm) among Adults 18-49 with 147,000 average viewers tuning in to the En Casa con Telemundo, La Mesa Caliente and Al Rojo Vivo line-up.
In addition, for the month of January, Telemundo was the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in total digital audience, reaching 9.5 million unique visitors, outperforming Univision by +10%, according to Comscore. The network also delivered a record 62.5 million total hours in January, making it the best month ever, driven by strong performance across YouTube and FAST channels, which delivered +24% and +11% growth month over month, respectively.
On social, in January 2026, Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in both social views and actions, with 1.8 billion views (+59% growth year over year) and 62 million actions (+23% growth year over year) outperforming Univision by +14% in views and +9% in actions, according to Comscore Social. The network also ranks #1 in social followers, with 304 million across Telemundo owned accounts, +72% ahead of Univision. Additionally, Noticias Telemundo remains the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network news brand across social media, delivering nearly 1.4 billion views and 48 million actions in January 2026, outperforming Univision Noticias by +708% in views and +782% in actions.
