MediaCo appoints Roberto Castro to SVP & Corporate Controller and Christian De La Cruz to GM/ VP DOS of San Francisco

MediaCo Holding Inc. announced the appointments of Roberto Castro to Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller and Christian De La Cruz as General Manager and VP, Director of Sales for the San Francisco market.

Mr. Castro brings 30 years of media and entertainment sector experience along with extensive financial management expertise to the company. He joins MediaCo following a nearly 24-year career at Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), where he served in various senior finance roles, including Vice President of Finance since 2015. Prior to joining SBS, he spent over six years at DIRECTV Latin America, where he held the roles of Accounting & Consolidation Manager and Senior Auditor. Previously, he served as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. He holds an MPA in Accounting from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and BBA in Accounting from Loyola University New Orleans.

A proven leader in multicultural media, De La Cruz brings more than 15 years of experience across Hispanic and general market broadcast. He most recently served as General Manager for Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) in San Francisco, where he led operations and revenue strategy across top-performing radio assets, including La Raza 93.3 FM. Throughout his tenure, he built a track record of driving revenue growth, developing high-performance sales teams, and delivering integrated marketing solutions that connect brands with culturally relevant audiences at scale.
