holaciudad.com, a hyper-local Spanish-language website unveiled its latest portal for the city of Miami.
 
Ruth Chía Vásquez is the editor for holaciudad Miami. Ms. Chía Vásquez previously served as the editor charged with overseeing the Amazing Video channel at Terra.com. She also worked as a copy editor and reporter for La Palma, the award-winning Spanish-language paper of the Palm Beach Post. She holds a master's degree in journalism from Florida International University.
 
"We are pleased to offer the vibrant Miami community a local site with high editorial standards as well as a space to contribute their opinions allowing us to significantly enrich and expand our content," said Blanca Recio Martinez, General Manager of holaciudad.com.   The site also boasts an expansive blogger network that includes a recent nomination for a GLADD Award in the category of Outstanding Digital Journalism Article for contributor Cary Tabares.
