In a first time effort by a local candidate for governor, Mark Warner has launched an assertive media campaign targeting the Latino community in the state of Virginia. The campaign efforts include local radio and television spots in Spanish, as well as bilingual campaign literature and print advertisements.

ZGS Communications, Inc. is behind the creative, production, and distribution process of the Mark Warner for Governor TV and radio campaign aimed at the Latino community.

ZGS produced two television spots that emphasize Mark Warner's recognition of the contributions that Hispanics have made to the state of Virginia. In "Abriendo Puertas" ("Opening Doors"), the 30-second spot stresses the importance of reaching goals together as a community. "Educación" ("Education" ) focuses on Mark Warner's platform and how his educational policies would benefit the Latino community.

There are also radio four radio spots produced, bearing testimonials of members of the Latino community, including Isis Castro, a member of the Fairfax county school board, addressing Latino Community issues.

The spots will be broadcast on local Univisión, Telemundo networks as well as radio stations statewide.
