Mega Communications Shuffles.

Alfredo Alonso – President of Mega Communications, Inc. has announced the following promotions and additions to the Mega Communications’ team.

Nomar Vizcarrondo has become the VP of Operations of WNNY-AM in New York. Previously, Mr. Vizcarrondo was the VP – General Manager of Mega’s Hartford, Connecticut combo WLAT-AM & WNEZ-AM. He also was the Program Director and Operations Manager of Spanish Broadcasting System’s WSKQ-FM, WPAT-FM and WXLX-AM.

Mr. Alonso also has named Rafael Grullon as the VP – General Manager of Mega’s Orlando property WNUE-FM and Tampa stations WMGG AM/FM and WLCC-AM. Mr. Grullon previously was the General Manager of the Mega’s Philadelphia stations and helped launch Mega’s Washington DC stations in 1997.

Josh Mednick, previously the General Manager of Mega’s Tampa operation has become the VP – Director of National Sales for all stations. Working closely with Caballero Spanish Media.

Kathy Coach has joined Mega Communications as the General Sales Manager of WNNY-AM in New York. Previously, she has held various positions with Arbitron.

Mr. Alonso will continue to take on the responsibilities of managing the day-to-day operations of WNNY-AM along with his responsibilities as president of the corporation.

These changes and additions are expect to help strengthen Mega Communications’ core management team.
