McAlone named VP of Network Sales for the Southwest at Univision.

Univision Communications Inc. announced the appointment of Michael McAlone as vice president of Network Sales for the Southwest region. He will be based in Dallas and report to Jeff Browning, senior vice president of Univision Network Sales.

“With more than 20 years of broadcast experience, including the last 12 exclusively serving the Hispanic audience, Michael has a distinct perspective and passion for the growth of the Hispanic market,” said Trisha Pray, executive vice president of Network Sales for Univision. “He has already demonstrated his expertise in managing cross platform and network television campaigns for several Fortune 500 companies and I am pleased to welcome him back to our team.”

McAlone rejoins Univision from Telemundo’s KTMD – TV in Houston, where he served as vice president of Television Sales. This appointment marks a return to Univision for McAlone, who in 2011 served as senior account executive for Univision in the Southwest region. Prior to Univision he held senior sales leadership roles at HRP, a television advertising representative company.

“Univision is growing exponentially as an industry leader in delivering value to its partners,” said McAlone.  “I am looking forward to working with Univision again and using my experience to continue the growth and value of the network that best serves the growing Hispanic marketplace.”
