Telemundo Station Group presents 2013 Hispanic Business Salute.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the Hispanic communities which it serves, Telemundo Station Group presents its 2013 Hispanic Business Salute, a multi-platform initiative that pays tribute to today’s local Hispanic business and entrepreneurs, and encourages future leaders by providing scholarships to outstanding Hispanic students. To date, Telemundo and its partners have awarded more than $350,000 in scholarships. This year, Telemundo Station Group will hold the events in the San Francisco, Phoenix and Dallas, in association with multiple partners for each market including the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, Kaiser Permanente, Mahatma and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

San Francisco, California- Telemundo Area de la Bahia and 18 Northern California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce from the Greater Bay Area Counties, in association with the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-Northern Region, will honor seven outstanding Bay Area Latin entrepreneurs for their contributions to their communities. Telemundo, in association with Kaiser Permanente and Mahatma, will also present scholarships to outstanding Hispanic college-bound students. The event will take place on May 30, 2013 at the Claremont Hotel Club and Spa in Oakland.

Phoenix, Arizona- Telemundo Phoenix in association with multiple partners including The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will honor the contributions of three local Hispanic-owned businesses and will also present scholarships to outstanding Hispanic students. The event will take place on August 15, 2013 at the AZ Biltmore Grand Ballroom in Phoenix.

Dallas, Texas- Telemundo Dallas-Fort Worth in association with the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will recognize the contributions of Hispanic-owned businesses from the Dallas – Fort Worth region. Telemundo in association with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund will also present scholarships to three outstanding Hispanic college-bound students. The event will take place on August 28, 2013 at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
