Kevin Garrity, Chief Executive Officer of Gen Media Partners has announced the promotion of Ann-Marie Figueira to Senior Vice President Hispanic Platforms and Multicultural Initiatives from Vice President Regional Sales and Hispanic. In her newly created position, she will have expanded responsibilities for driving revenue for Hispanic national radio sales across all of Gen Media Partners’ 15 offices, including New York and Los Angeles.
“The Hispanic market is not homogenous,” noted Figueira. “You cannot use a one-size-fits-all approach. Different levels of assimilation and acculturation, different language preferences, country of origin, and where cultural groups settle are key factors to campaign success. I’m looking forward to working with our nationwide sales team to drive revenue for our Hispanic radio partners.”
A twenty-five-year national radio sales professional with extensive knowledge of the Hispanic radio marketplace, Figueira’s background includes Caballero Spanish Media, Interep, and McGavren Guild.
