MundoFox 2014 – 2015 Upfront

In addition to ongoing primetime favorites like “100 Latinos Dijeron” featuring host Marco Antonio Regil and a newly rebranded national news platform, “Noticias MundoFox con Rolando Nichols”, upfront attendees learned about the vision for MundoFox, and enjoyed a sneak peek of the upcoming primetime series set to air during broadcast year 2015, including:
o El Mariachi – A series that tells the story of young mariachi musician, Martín Aguirre, who is mistaken for a legendary fugitive and inadvertently thrown into a war between the drug cartels. After being unjustly imprisoned, the mariachi escapes to seek revenge against those who wronged him, regain his honor and fight for the woman he loves.
o El Capitán – This is the amazing true story of a man who overcomes his humble origin and forges an illustrious destiny for himself. Armed with nothing but his unmatched tenacity, joy of life, vision and charisma, “El Capitan” conquered his dreams and in the process, touched the lives of millions. Shot in Mexico, the series features a great cast, led by Humberto Zurita and José María de Tavira.
o Los Milagros de Jesús – From the creators of “King David” and “Joseph of Egypt” comes an epic Biblical series bringing to life the most important miracles by Jesus. Featuring breathtaking landscapes and a highly detailed illustration of the world 2,000 years ago, the series holds high production values and storytelling.
o ¿Quién Mató a Patricia Soler? – Starring Mexican super start Itatí Cantoral, “¿Quién Mató a Patricia Soler?” is the story of a woman betrayed by those closest to her, who returns 20 years later to seek vengeance and make things right.
VOD PLATFORM – VIVE MUNDOFOX
As the Latino marketplace continues to rapidly expand, MundoFox has recognized the need for more choice in Spanish-language media. Choice is about more than just programming; it is about providing viewers options on how, when and where they consume content. MundoFox will be available “everywhere, anytime”, launching the online digital VOD platform: VIVE MUNDOFOX, where a robust array of programming will be made available.
