14th Hispanic Business Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards.

The 14th annual Hispanic Business Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala will be held November 11th, 2004, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Among the nation’s most prestigious business honors, the Hispanic Business EOY Awards highlight the drive, innovation, courage, business success, and civic responsibility of America’s most accomplished Hispanic entrepreneurs. The November 11th event will unveil the nationwide winner, as well as an elite group of winners in five industry categories who were selected from among hundreds of nominations and evaluation by an independent panel of accountants.

The second annual Hispanic Business Lifetime Achievement Award also will be presented at the evening Gala, recognizing an individual who has dedicated their career to the awareness and advancement of the U.S. Hispanic community. Honoring the pivotal role of academia in entrepreneurial evolution, this year’s award winner is Marta Tienda, the Maurice P. During ’22 Professor in Demographic Studies and Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University, and author of numerous books and scholarly papers on Hispanic issues in the United States.

Guest-host for the evening is California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Chairwoman Melinda Guzman, who also is a partner in the law firm of Goldsberry, Freeman, Guzman & Ditora LLP.

Delivering the keynote address — “Financing the Next Demographic Wave” — will be Marcos Rodriguez, founder and managing member of Palladium Equity Partners LLC, a New York private equity firm that invests in middle-market companies positioned to serve the fast-growing U.S. Hispanic population.
