2017 Puerto Rico Basketball League Games to Air in the U.S. on WAPA América throughout the regular season of the 2017 Puerto Rico Basketball League (BSN, for its Spanish acronym), which kicked off on Thursday, April 6, WAPA América will exclusively air one game per week on Sundays at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Viewers will be able to tune in to the network for a special Saturday broadcast on April 15 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, when the Capitanes Arecibo face off the Leones de Ponce.
This year the Puerto Rico Basketball League is comprised of ten teams: Aguada, Arecibo, Bayamón, Fajardo, Guayama, Humacao, Mayagüez, Ponce, San Germán y Quebradillas. Each team will play 36 games during the regular season. Carlos Arroyo, Renaldo Balkman, Mike Harris, Donta Smith Eric Dawson, Hakim Warrick, and Damion James are among the former NBA players and fan-favorites returning to the court this season.
