The Acento agency showcased its creativity at the 11th annual Dia de los Muertos celebration at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles. Acento provides Hispanic advertising and integrated communications services for clients such as Wells Fargo, Staples, SUPERVALU, Southern California Edison, ServiceMaster, California Public Utilities Commissions, amongst others.
“We utilized the best of our team’s creativity to honor the immigrants’ efforts, courage and their valor,” said Martin de La Fuente, Acento Creative Director. The altar created was in homage to dead immigrants. The idea behind this unique altar was to give a home to the souls of immigrants who died on their journey to the United States and are still looking for a place to rest. Acento recreated a miniature heaven for immigrants in the shape of a house made with recycled and trash materials. The altar included a children’s playroom, a woman’s beauty salon, a cantina for the ones who died of thirst, a backyard for the gardeners, a movie theater featuring Mexican movies, a kitchen with a never ending supply of food and a ballroom where everyone can dance for an eternity.
