Acting School Dedicated To The Telenovelas Industry.

CIFALC School For The Performing Arts has announced the opening of its doors to the public for the first time since its U.S inauguration back in February 2003.

CIFALC is an expansion of Luz Columba, the acting school from Caracus, Venezuela, renowned for producing numerous celebrities now starring in the telenovela world including Gabriela Spanic, Gabriela Espino and Scarlet Ortiz, all of whom are former graduates.

CIFALC – ‘Centro Internacional Formacion Actoral Luz Columba’ – and a former private academy for semi-professional actors and actresses, is now auditioning talented students who are applying from around the country for its Fall 2005 classes in Miami, led by the school’s internationally recognized head professor and acting coach to the stars, Aquiles Ortega.

CIFALC provides a new opportunity and a major stepping-stone for aspiring actors and actresses wanting to break into the industry while providing a ‘breeding ground’ of talent for the increasing U.S telenovela production business, now worth an estimated $2 billion overall.

CIFALC is the first school of its kind in the U.S to provide classes in a genuine telenovela production and recording studio environment, enabling young talent to prepare for a professional career in all aspects of the performing arts and telenovela genre.

CIFALC and Aquiles Ortega is the first to introduce the unique “Luz Columba” or ‘Truth Without Effort’ acting methodology that originates from Venezuela, and which many of today’s telenovela stars continue to practice.
