Ad Federation Of Miami Honors Six Legendary Ladies.

Six “Legendary Ladies” whose leadership, creativity, and vision helped put Miami on the national advertising map will be honored by The Advertising Federation of Greater Miami, announced Ad Fed President Ric Banciella.

“A Salute to Women in Advertising,” a reception set for October 29, 7-9:30 pm, at Pescado restaurant at The Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, will honor six dynamic South Florida advertising leaders:

Joyce Beber & Elaine Silverstein, Beber Silverstein Group

Ana María Fernández-Haar, The IAC Group

Aida Levitan, Publicis Sanchez & Levitan

Sandy Tinsley, Tinsley Advertising

Tere Zubizarreta, Zubi Advertising

“These six honorees have played a vital role in the success of South Florida’s thriving advertising industry,” said Banciella. “They first burst onto the national scene in the ‘80s via the mainstream US market, and continue to lead the pack in the US Hispanic market today. They charted a path that has influenced countless others in South Florida, on both the agency side and the client side.”

At the event, the honorees will also recognize other female advertising executives who they believe have the potential to be “Legends of the Future.”
