¡Adelante Mujer!

Yasmin Davidds, daughter of Latino immigrants, recognized speaker, coach and expert in Latino women issues, announced the Spanish release of her audio/CD self-help system “¡Adelante Mujer! Los siete pasos al éxito para la mujer latina”. The English version of the system, “The Latinas Seven Principles”, is currently available.

Ms. Davidds created this innovative self-help system to teach Latinas to love and to trust themselves, and to find the strength to make crucial life decisions. With this system, consisting of one workbook and eight CDs, Yasmin reaches out to Latinas all over the world in an effort to promote strength, self-love, and individual power to the millions of women who are seeking emotional sustenance. The availability of this groundbreaking self-help product marks a milestone for the Latin market.

Yasmin’s life story and her tough personal experiences are the inspiration for this life-changing system. Ms. Davidds overcame many of life’s obstacles, ultimately achieving a successful career – and wants to share the tools she used to help other Latinas like her to achieve the same. Davidds, a 34 year old extraordinary teacher, mentor, and devotee of her Latina sisters, has dedicated her life to the study of Latino women and topics that directly affect their development.

Los siete pasos al éxito para la mujer latina”, a follow-up to Yasmin’s best-selling Dando Poder a Latinas (Empowering Latinas: Breaking Boundaries, Freeing Lives) not only explains how and why Latinas have suffered emotional and personal crises, it offers powerful exercises and stories, developed to help Latinas discover their true selves and to embrace the power they possess, simply by existing.

Yasmin Davidds’ experiences began as the daughter of Latino immigrants living in a predominantly Latino neighborhood in the East San Gabriel Valley and continued as she enrolled in the University of Southern California where she received a degree in business. She went on to further her education by earning a Masters in Women’s Studies, specializing in Latina issues from San Diego State University. Additionally, Yasmin attended the University of Cambridge in Great Britain, where she studied gender roles in a variety of ethnic groups.

Since 1989 she has counseled thousands of young Latinos and has been an advisor to over 1,750 Latinos l. Yasmin also serves on the Board of Directors for HOPE (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality) and is a graduate of their HOPE Leadership Institute.
