Adrenalina announced staff promotions Zeiris, Bendesky and Argueta.
August 30, 2009
Zeiris elevated to executive creative director; Bendesky advances to senior brand leader; Argueta moves up to digital cognitive anthropologist also managing the agency’s technology and other digital operations; Girma appointed executive assistant to the president
All three promotions are effective immediately with Zeiris elevated to executive CD, Bendesky moving up to senior brand leader and Argueta advancing to a dual role overseeing the agency’s technology and other digital services and as a cognitive anthropologist specializing in digital strategy.
“Victor (Zeiris), Yonathan (Bendesky) and Cesar (Argueta) represent the best of what Adrenalina is and what it can become,” said Manuel Wernicky, president, chief ideas officer and managing partner, Adrenalina. “Their promotions signify their value and contributions to the agency and acknowledge the leadership, creative and strategic thinking they will provide to elevate our growth at the agency.”
Zeiris becomes executive creative director less than a year after joining Adrenalina as creative director. He will continue to lead and manage all aspects of the agency’s creative team from concept development to the delivery of consumer-focused creative campaigns.
Zeiris is a former CD of Euro RSCG Latino, where he spent 11 years overseeing creative teams for clients including DirecTV, Volvo, Sanofi-Aventis (Lantus), The Hartford, Walgreens, Chivas Regal and Evian.
Bendesky moves up to senior brand leader after joining Adrenalina in October 2008 as a brand leader executing Heineken USA’s award-winning Tecate brands portfolio, helping to boost the profile of Tecate and entrench the brand among its core consumers, Mexican male immigrants.
For Tecate Light, Bendesky worked with Tecate Light distributor Heineken USA and the Adrenalina creative team to successfully mount the first bilingual multiplatform campaign for the brand aimed at U.S. born Hispanics and immigrants.
Previously, Bendesky served as a manager of business and client development at Latino Sports & Entertainment Marketing (LSE), San Diego.
Argueta advances to a dual post managing the agency’s technology and other digital operations and as a cognitive anthropologist specializing in digital strategy. He joined Adrenalina as senior executive assistant to the president in December 2008.
In his dual jobs, Argueta will showcase his digital and marketing know-how in two key agency areas: as the point-man in technology and applications and as a cognitive anthropologist developing strategies for creative teams charged with generating innovative, interactive digital campaigns.
Argueta previously held digital posts at AT&T, Motorola and the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for eight years in Kuwait and Yuma, Ariz. He has a MBA in marketing from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
On board to fill the slot left open by Argueta’s promotion is Sarah Girma, who joins Adrenalina from Deloitte & Touche, Los Angeles, where she served as a consulting analyst in the technology group. She has a bachelor of business administration from Loyola Marymount, Los Angeles.
Girma, Zeiris, Bendesky and Argueta will report to Wernicky.
