Aflac Duck inspires Soccer Team

Aflac will release Pep-Talk Soccer, the company’s latest Spanish language commercial on Sunday, January 19th. The new commercial leverages the hype of the 2014 World Cup to deliver an important message to the Hispanic Market. When an unexpected injury strikes, Aflac can help you stay focused on your goals.

In Pep-Talk Soccer, a player is injured and unable to finish the big game. So, like an Aflac policyholder, the coach calls on the Aflac Duck to step up and lead the team to victory. The Duck helps the injured player and gives a rousing speech that helps keep the team focused on the things that matter most. The commercial humorously delivers on Aflac’s value proposition of paying cash benefits to policyholders for covered illnesses or injuries, to get them back in the game rather than worry about their finances.

Pep Talk Soccer is the fourth Spanish language commercial that Aflac has produced in the past year. Debuting on Sunday, January 19, it will launch nationally in Spanish language networks in large Hispanic markets including Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco and Orlando. It is scheduled to run up to and through the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup, which begins in June, and will be supported by several integration elements including local radio, digital banners, broadband videos, and at Aflac’s Spanish language website, aflac.com/espanol.
