Church’s Chicken, a division of AFC Enterprises, Inc. announced that it has selected San Antonio, TX-based The Cartel Group as the quick service chicken restaurant company’s advertising agency of record following a nationwide search. Church’s Chicken is the first quick service restaurant to name a multi-cultural agency as its flagship agency.

TBWA Goes ‘Transcultural’.

In efforts to maximize its relationship with its consumers, LACTAID Milk is amplifying Hispanic marketing efforts with its recent selection of La Agencia de Orci as its Hispanic agency of record. La Agencia de Orci will execute a “surround-sound” Spanish-language advertising campaign for LACTAID Milk that will include TV, radio and magazine ads. The ads are scheduled to break the first quarter of 2004 and will run throughout the year.

National Pork Board Expands Commitment To U.S. Hispanic Market.

The National Pork Board has increased its commitment to reach the Hispanic market by expanding the Hispanic marketing program to a dozen markets from the current five. The 15 pork producer members of the National Pork Board approved this proposal during their regular board meeting March 3-4, 2004.

Unilever Bestfoods’ Ragu Sauce launched a Spanish-language television advertising campaign for the first time ever in the U.S. The campaign capitalizes on the growing Hispanic market and communicates the appeal of Ragu sauces to the “Latino” taste with the theme “Make them fall in love with Ragu.” The ad captures the magic of the moment where nothing else matters but the enjoyment of a meal made with Ragu.
