Hispanic Advertising Conference Expected To ‘Open Minds’.

The Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA), will host its 17th semi-annual conference, “Be Open Minded,” at New York’s Plaza Hotel Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

With the November 2004 presidential election just a few months away, Ad2 Miami in combination with Rock the Vote is holding its first annual Ad2 Miami Rock the Vote party at Flavour (2895 Mcfarlane Road) in Coconut Grove on September 10th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

ANA Call For Entries To Multicultural Marketing Awards.

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) has opened a call for entries for its annual Multicultural Excellence Awards. The Awards, now in their fourth year, recognize ANA member companies that have produced outstanding multicultural advertising campaigns during the past 12 months. This year the program will feature a new category that honors gay and lesbian advertising campaigns.

Travel & Tourism Industry Failing To Invest In The Hispanic Traveler.

Hispanic Meetings & Travel magazine (HM&T) presented its 2nd Annual Hispanic Executives Meeting Management Forum on July 14, 2004 at the Melrose Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Forum wias focused on recent reports by the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) showing a significant increase in travel over the past three years by minority Americans.
