On August 6, in big cities and small towns across the United States, people will unite and walk together to show their support for fighting HIV/AIDS in children across the globe. The new nationwide event, called MannaWalk, will raise funds to provide nutritional programs for children, mostly orphans, with this epidemic disease. Thousands of walkers are expected to participate in more than 300 MannaWalk events across the country.

Consumer Confidence Index Dips In July.
The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index, which had increased in June, dipped in July. The Index now stands at 103.2 (1985=100), down from 106.2 in June. The Present Situation Index decreased to 118.5 from 120.8. The Expectations Index declined to 93.0 from 96.4 last month.

Miami-based Hispanic marketing and advertising agency CreativeOndemanD (COD) was selected by the New York International Film Festival (NYILFF) to provide advertising support for this year’s festival (July 26-31).
