Far too many of those mailings, emails and Facebook messages that companies send to their loyalty reward program members miss the mark, according to consumer survey research released by customer loyalty agency Direct Antidote, a LoyaltyOne company.

Pampers diapers launched “A Parent Is Born,” a 12-episode Web series documenting the real-life journey of a young couple as they experience pregnancy and birth for the first time. The series debuts on Pampers.com today, and also includes a syndication plan with a number of partners online.

4 in 5 Americans made cuts to Personal Spending due to Economy.

As the economy has suffered over the past year, one area where consumers have been impacted is in their spending. Four in five Americans (79%) say they have made cuts over the past year in their personal spending due to the economy. One-third (32%) have made a lot of cuts while almost half (47%) have made some cuts. Just one in five Americans (21%) have not made any cuts in their personal spending due to the economy.

Don Francisco as poster child.

In it’s August 10th cover story about marketing to Hispanics, the Miami Herald opened its article with a reference to Univision’s Saturday-night variety show host Don Francisco.
