Aguilera-Hart named VP Creative Director for ON-Air Promotions at NUVOtv

NUVOtv announced that Sylvia Hart has joined the network as Vice President/Creative Director of On-Air Promotion.
In this newly-created position, Hart will be responsible for on air promotion and all short form video creation. She is based in Los Angeles and reports to Laura Masse, Executive Vice President, Marketing.
“Sylvia is an innovative, creative and insightful marketing executive with a breadth and depth of television experience,” Masse said. “Her extensive work in multicultural marketing initiatives makes her a great addition for NUVOtv as we continue to grow our viewership and build brand awareness.”
Hart joins NUVOtv from NBC Universal (NBCU). She joined NBC in 1999 as director, on-air promotion and was promoted to vice president, on-air promotion in 2006. In this role, she was involved in strategy and execution of all on-air campaigns for series including “The Voice,” “Revolution,” “Parenthood” and “The Office.” She also handled special projects including upfront presentations and cross-divisional corporate initiatives. In the multicultural arena, Aguilera-Hart had direct oversight for various projects including the launch of Spanish language novelas, reality programs and the first-ever Olympics broadcast on Telemundo. She also oversaw multicultural marketing efforts for various NBC shows including “The Voice,” “The Event” and “Grimm,” and worked with a multicultural agency to strategize and execute ideas for on-air, digital advertising, radio and grass roots efforts. Hart, who is bilingual, was also responsible for all Spanish language translations.
Earlier in her career, Hart served as writer/producer/editor in the on-air promo group at ABC Television, editing promos for all ABC shows and acting as writer/producer/editor for ABC Daytime promos.
Aguilera-Hart is a member of the PROMAX Diversity Council.
