AHAA announce Call for Entries for First Edition of ‘U.S.H. Idea Awards’

AHAA and Círculo Creativo are calling on the best Hispanic creative to compete for the first edition of the U.S.H. Idea Awards, recognizing stellar achievement in work created by U.S. Hispanic agencies and directed at Hispanic audiences. The inaugural U.S.H. Idea Awards will be presented Friday, May 4 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami during AHAA’s Annual Conference.

“In partnership with Círculo Creativo, we have created an award uniquely designed for the U.S. Hispanic industry – one that is organized, judged and awarded by top Hispanic advertising creatives,” said Roberto Orci, chair of AHAA and CEO of Acento. “The U.S.H. Idea Award will become the standard to showcase the best work from our industry and elevate it to compete on an international level.”

Círculo Creativo created the concept and framework for the new award, established the criteria, led the judge selection, and designed the visual identity for the logo and trophy to be presented to winners.

“Great ideas take a lot of effort not only to develop and sustain, but also to deliver a memorable moment that can impress today’s consumers,” said Gustavo Lauria, President of Círculo Creativo and CCO and Partner at The Vidal Partnership. “We wanted to create an award that captured U.S. Hispanic creative excellence and celebrates the rich diversity of our market, while recognizing the unique sensibility of our industry’s work”.
