AHAMP – Give A Hand To The Best In The Industry.

The Association of Hispanic Agency and Media Professionals (AHAMP) will host their 1st Annual Awards Banquet to recognize those individuals who are the “Best of the Best” within the advertising industry.
This event will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 6 p.m. at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas.
“It has been a year since we first established AHAMP, and it is time to recognize those individuals who excel in their respective positions,” said Joe Valdez, president of the organization.
The local advertising industry will have a chance to nominate colleagues and peers who represent the “Best of the Best” in the following categories. The categories are: Assistant Media Buyer, Assistant Media Planner, Assistant Account Executive, Media Buyer, Media Planner, Associate Media Director/Media Director, Account Executive, Account Supervisor, Account Director, Account Executive – Radio Sales, Account Executive – Television Sales, Account Executive – Print Sales and Station Manager – Television or Radio (e.g. NSM, GSM, etc.)
Once nomination submissions close on March 1st, nominees will be interviewed by the AHAMP Nomination Committee and winners will be announced at the awards banquet. The event will be great networking opportunity and space will be limited. Mary Cano, Event Chairperson, adds, “We want to invite everyone to attend and support those Hispanic market pros that deserve to be recognized.” The admission cost to the event will be $30.00 at the door, $20.00 with RSVP and $12.00 for paid members.
