Al Borde Del Deseo to debut on WAPA America.

Al Borde Del Deseo (“On the Edge of Desire”), the first dramatic series produced by WAPA Television in 18 years. The series will air in the U.S. exclusively on WAPA America.

Al Borde Del Deseo is the story of women who share their experiences with love in a modern world, where they fight to attain the same economic and professional positions as men.

These women, from different social classes who lead opposite lives, go through life equally trying to find happiness in a drama charged with comedy and emotion, where their dreams, fears, hopes, and troubles are unveiled.

Al Borde Del Deseo has a first-class cast made up of veteran and breakout actors from various regions, including Cordelia Gonzales, Sully Diaz and Braulio Castillo of Puerto Rico, and Rodolfo Jimenez, a Mexican actor famous for his roles in various telenovelas, such as “Decisiones,” and “Anita No Te Rajes.”

“WAPA-TV has an extensive history of producing high-quality productions. We are confident this new series will be a success, not only among Puerto Ricans, but with the various Hispanic groups living in the U.S,” said Joe Ramos, president of WAPA-TV. “The storyline evolves in a way in which viewers will connect with the characters and experience intense emotions. Every episode ends in a cliffhanger.”

Al Borde del Deseo, based on the movie “Las Infieles,” was filmed among spectacular scenery in Puerto Rico, including Ponce, Caguas, Rio Grande and Old San Juan.

The series was written by the esteemed Puerto Rican authors Myrna Casas, Jorge Rodríguez, Luis Carlos Robles, and the series’ director, Vicente Castro. Jorge Luis Ramos is the Executive Producer.
