Al Dia, the Spanish language newspaper of The Dallas Morning News, announces the launch of a brand new advertising campaign today, utilizing multiple media vehicles for the first time in order to reach the growing Hispanic population in Dallas-Fort Worth.
The new campaign, called “OPEN YOUR EYES,” will feature 30- and 15-second television commercials on several stations in the Dallas-Fort
Worth area, including Univision, Telefutura and Azteca America. This integrated campaign will also include ads on major radio stations in the
region, as well as on billboards.
Every ad features a close-up of a human eye, in which the iris reflects different cover pages of Al Dia at every blink. In this way, the campaign
presents its sections and the relevant areas of interest for the reader, with an invitation for readers request free home-delivered subscriptions.
“This advertising effort is part of a marketing strategy that focuses on optimizing our distribution, obtaining a larger number of subscribers
and serving the community, of readers as well as advertisers,” said Alejandro Sanchez, President and General Manager of Al Dia.
“The new positioning of Al Dia reflected though this advertising campaign and backed by the new slogan ‘Your World Daily,’ captures the
essence of Al Dia, which features a wide variety of news and lifestyle issues that are important and relevant to our readers,” said Isaac Lasky,
Marketing Director.
