Albright – SVP Director Of Strategic Development @ Montemayor y Asociados.
January 19, 2002
Amy Albright, formerly Senior Strategic Planner at Bromley Communications in San Antonio, has joined Montemayor y Asociados as Senior Vice President/Director of Strategic Development.
Albright has over seven years’ experience in bilingual and multicultural marketing. At Montemayor, she will direct Hispanic planning and co-direct the Account Service area. She will focus on analyzing research and developing client brand strategy for marketing plans, as well as working with the agency’s new business team to present market trends and consumer/brand insights to potential clients.
Before joining Montemayor, Albright consulted on the development of Hispanic, African-American and Indian-Asian marketing and/or research plans for Bromley clients such as Procter & Gamble, Western Union, and the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau. While at Bromley, she also developed advertising plans for several brands including Sunny Delight, Folgers, Scope and Always, as well as national and international new-product launches. She also has been a bilingual marketing specialist for GE Capital Mortgage Services, Inc., in Missouri.
“Cultural identity can play a large role in building a bridge between the consumer and the brand,” said Albright. “As the cultural dynamics of the U.S. evolve, only agencies that acknowledge, understand and act on these changes will be able to lead their clients to success.”
“Amy will be a great resource to the agency,” said Carlos R. Montemayor, president and CEO. “We’ve always provided our clients with strategic direction, of course, but her interpretation of consumer insight and market trends will give us additional ammunition to ensure that our clients’ marketing plans are on target to grow their business.”
