Alcazar – President Of Hispanic Communications Network.

Hispanic Communications Network (HCN) has named Carlos Alcazar as President. Alcazar will be responsible for leveraging the company’s long and successful history of radio and newspaper programming to launch the company into television, custom publishing and the web. The company is diversifying the services offered, increasing HCN’s reach into the Latino marketplace and expanding the existing client base. HCN works with government agencies, private corporations, and foundations to produce and distribute programming through its affiliate network of 225 radio stations, 97 newspapers, network television and the internet.

Over the past 15 years, Carlos has successfully guided education and media companies to achieve growth by establishing a vision for corporate strategy, global expansion and business development. Most recently, as Vice President of a Pearson plc company, he was responsible for creating new business opportunities in worldwide markets through joint ventures, strategic alliances, and new division launches. He has launched and managed business units in Asia, Latin America, Europe and the United States for companies like Simon & Schuster and Pearson Education.
