ALDI selects The Group Advertising as Hispanic AOR.

ALDI has selected The Group Advertising in Central Florida as Hispanic Agency of Record for the Florida market. ALDI entered the U.S. market in 1976 with a handful of stores in southeastern Iowa. ALDI has more than 900 stores in 28 states serving more than 15 million customers each month. ALDI has been opening about 50 stores per year with more than 100 new U.S stores opening in 2008. In its 2008 report, Progressive Grocer ranked ALDI 24th in U.S. grocery chains in terms of gross sales considerable accomplishment given the limited assortment and low prices.
The Group Advertising will be handling the grand opening of ALDI’s branches in areas where there are higher concentrations of Hispanic populations. In addition, The Group Advertising will handle all Hispanic communications efforts in the Florida market. It will also work in conjunction with ALDI’s current advertising agency from Chicago making sure that the campaigns are trans-created properly into Spanish.
