Alma makes History at the Miami Addys

Alma was once again the most awarded agency at the 2014 Miami ADDYs, with a total of 60 Addys and two “Best of Show” for Print and Broadcast. The agency won gold and silver for nine different clients in diverse categories, including digital, print, television, social media, and several others.

The Best of Show nods were garnered in the Broadcast Non English category for McDonald’s HACER campaign and in General Market Print for Tobacco Free Florida’s Iceberg execution. In all, the agency brought home 31 gold awards and 29 silver awards, making this the best performance in the local Addy award’s history.

“Being the most awarded agency two years in a row is truly humbling and a great recognition for our entire team,” said Luis Miguel Messianu, Alma President and Chief Creative Officer. “Can’t think of a better way to continue celebrating our 20 year anniversary.”

Among the Alma campaigns to earn gold for their executions: State Farm’s Fan Pass 2 and Abuela, Cricket’s “Let’s Talk Again”, McDonald’s HACER and “Surrounded by Flavor”, Tobacco Free Florida’s “Quit Season”, “Cost of Smoking”, “Anthill” and “Iceberg”, Hola Mexico Australia, Glad’s “Ms. Onion” and “Mr. Fish” and Clorox’s “Hold on Tight”, “LOL” and “Flush Flush.”

“The diversity of the categories in which we won demonstrates our overall creative strength,” said Isaac Mizrahi, SVP, Managing Director of Alma. “I’m particularly proud that our work for several clients was recognized on multiple platforms.”

Alma also brought home 29 silver awards for a variety of campaigns, including Cricket, Florida Blue, Buddy Fruits, Hola Mexico Australia, Clorox, McDonald’s, State Farm and Tobacco Free Florida.
