Rosa Alonso was named group publisher of Zoom Media Group. Alonso will head up the sales and marketing force for Zoom’s two titles, Poder, a monthly business magazine that targets the Hispanic elite, and Loft, a magazine for affluent Latino men.

Alonso, a former business development director at Univision and director of East Coast sales for People en espanol, is widely recognized in the industry for her success in delivering “best-in-class” segmented campaigns in a variety of industries; she has spent over 15 years creating and executing integrated Hispanic and multicultural initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. Her most recent position prior to joining Zoom was as Senior Director of International and Multicultural Marketing at AT&T Wireless.
