alPunto Advertising completes production of Videos Targeting Kids.

Tustin, CA based alPunto Advertising has completed a lengthy project for client IEHP in which six HI DEF videos have been developed and produced.
The videos, three in English and three in Spanish, target children 7-12 years old and deal with very important health and social issues:
1) Nutrition and Exercise
2) Smoking
3) Bike Riding Safety
The finished animated videos provide a clear and relevant message to these kids and provide tips both kids and parents can keep in mind in order to stay healthy and safe.
This project started with the development by alPunto of comic books dealing with the same topics and it then expanded into video production.
The videos feature relevant heroes that the kids can relate to: Super Nutricia (fighting childhood obesity), The Eradicator (fighting teenage smoking) and Rad Rider (promoting bike riding safety, in particular helmet use).
“It’s not easy to reach kids that age and start creating behavioral changes, but we believe these videos have the right message and approach to do it; also, peer pressure is a key component in kids deviating from the right path, and the tips we included help fight off such pressures. It also feel great to be doing something that benefits our community, especially our children.” says alPunto’s VP Enrique Turégano.
The videos will be available at the IEHP website later this month.
