ANA looking for entries for 10th Annual Multicultural Excellence Awards.

The ANA (Association of National Advertisers) is now accepting entries for its 10th annual Multicultural Excellence Awards. The awards recognize member companies and marketers for their work in producing superior multicultural advertising and marketing campaigns.

Winners will be announced at the ANA’s 12th Annual Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference, November 7-9 in Miami, FL. For a campaign to be eligible, it must have appeared between June 2009 and June 2010.

“Over the past 10 years we have amassed incredible examples of breakthrough multicultural marketing,” said Gilbert Dávila, industry thought leader and Chairperson of the ANA’s Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee. “We are looking forward to seeing even more impressive campaigns this year, demonstrating the innovative work being done to reach our nation’s diverse group of consumers.”

This year, the ANA will review submissions to reflect excellence in key multicultural, diversity and media categories, as well as overall business performance. A new category highlighting exceptional work in print advertising has been added to the competition.

Significant Business Results

Companies and agencies are encouraged to submit multiple entries within a category or across multiple categories. For additional rules, fees and submission guidelines, interested parties can go to www.ana.net/awards. The deadline for submissions is August 16, 2010.

A portion of the proceeds collected from the awards submission fees are used to fund scholarships for high-potential multicultural students planning to pursue careers in advertising and marketing.
