Ana Madan

Ana Madan has championed Hispanic marketing efforts and has been an advocate for her community within the McDonald’s system throughout her career. Her last name, Madan, is synonymous with torch-bearing that started with her father, Roberto, and has been continued with Ana in promoting “golden opportunities”for Latinos in America.

As a second-generation owner/operator, she started as a crew member while studying diplomacy. Ana’s dedication, hard work and commitment to the corporation led her to become approved in the system as the youngest woman-owner-operator, in 1986. Today, she is the proud owner of a group of successful McDonald’s restaurants.

Ana has held several important positions within the McDonald’s organization. Most recently, as the National Chair of the McDonald’s Hispanic Owner/Operator Association, the first woman to hold that post in the organization’s 50-year history. She was also the first woman and the only Hispanic to serve as President of the McDonald’s New York Metro Coop. Additionally, Ana has served as National Chair of Hispanic Consumer Marketing.

As someone highly committed to creating a positive impact in the community Ana alongside her team, holds weekly events for families in need, feeds the homeless, and provides educational activities for school-age children. Her dedication to supporting the McDonald’s Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources (HACER) scholarship program in the New York Tri-State area has enabled young Hispanic students to become the first person in their families to attend college. Ana has also been on the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities in the New York region.

Ana’s heart for her community shines through her actions, and her commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring.
