Angélica Vale wins Gracie® Award for Individual Achievement in Local Radio

Cali 93.9 Los Angeles On-Air Morning Show Talent Angelica Vale has been named the 2022 Gracie Award winner for Individual Achievement in Local Radio. Her show on Marconi-winning KLLI is the first and only female-led Spanish morning show in Los Angeles, the nation’s most competitive radio market. She is the first-ever winner in this newly-createdGracies category for Non-English Individual Achievement in local radio.

“Radio is one of the most intimate performance platforms that I’ve had the honor to work on,”commented Angelica Vale, known to her fans as ‘La Vale,’ adding, “radio’s massive live reach and instant connection to our community is one of the most amazing responsibilities I’ve held. And as a woman leading this effort, it’s by far the most rewarding.”

Presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, the Gracies recognize individual achievement created by, for and about women in all facets of media and entertainment. Now in its 47th year, the annual award program was created with the aim to recognize individuals in media who reflected the changing roles, issues, and concerns of women.
