America Online announced the selection of Irvine, California-based Casanova Pendrill to serve as its full-service advertising agency for the U.S. Hispanic market. As part of AOL’s strategic emphasis on emerging markets, the agency will work to enhance AOL’s brand identity among U.S. Hispanics and demonstrate AOL’s strong commitment to provide new features and services to better serve this growing consumer group.

A key part of Casanova’s responsibilities will include the development of fully integrated advertising and marketing campaigns targeting the Hispanic market as well as the development of creative and effective messaging. Casanova will provide media planning and buying services, and will ensure the effective delivery of AOL’s media partnerships. The agency will also work with all of AOL’s marketing channels to optimize targeting and improve Hispanic messaging.
