June 19, 2006
Warner Bros. and AOL launched In2TV En Espanol, a Spanish-language channel on In2TV (www.aol.com/in2tv) — featuring multiple episodes of more than two dozen popular television series with Spanish language tracks.
In2TV(TM) En Espanol showcases episodes from Babylon 5 to Wonder Woman to Perfect Strangers, and many more. According to weekly tracking by AOL, these are among the most popular shows on In2TV, the new broadband network with the largest offering of popular television series available online for free. This new Spanish-language channel will expose an entire online community to television programs that have previously only been seen in their original English broadcast format.
According to Kevin Conroy, Executive Vice President, AOL, “By making these popular shows available in Spanish for the first time in the U.S., we continue to fulfill In2TV’s mission as the Web’s most expansive broadband television network, breaking new ground once again.”
“We’re proud to be the first to offer such an extensive line-up of beloved series in Spanish,” says Eric Frankel, President of Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution. “En Espanol joins In2TV’s nine other channels of top-notch television, maintaining the service’s position as a TV lover’s dream come true – in any language.”
