April Davis Alejandro – Group Account Director @ Mercury Mambo.

Mercury Mambo announced April Davis Alejandro has joined the firm as Group Account Director, bringing her award-winning experience with well-known consumer brands and thorough knowledge of Hispanic marketing trends to the agency’s growing client base.

Ms. Alejandro joins Mercury Mambo from LatinWorks, where she helped launch Hispanic initiatives for a diverse array of clients including Hennessy Cognac, Johnnie Walker Black Label, United States Air Force, Fanta, and the Fannie Mae Foundation. Among her accomplishments are the launch of Hennessy’s 2003 advertising campaign featuring Latin rap superstar Tego Calderón and the creation of Hennessy’s Urban Movida Latin DJ series of events.

Prior to LatinWorks, Ms. Alejandro worked at Bromley Communications in San Antonio, where she managed local, regional and national Hispanic marketing plans for Burger King, Cadillac, Pontiac and Amoco. Her achievements include launching the initial Hispanic Internet fulfillment program for General Motors and leading the creative strategy development for an Amoco Hispanic creative campaign recognized as Best of Show / Addy Awards and Silver / NY Film Festival.
