“Because soccer is the most popular sport around the globe, the FIFA World Cup tournament is the most anticipated event in professional sports and we were excited to work with Fútbol De Primera to create a custom study that provided a more in-depth look at American’s growing passion for the sport,” said Chris Meinhardt, Arbitron Sport Manager. “Thanks to the level of audience detail provided by the PPM ratings service, we were able to show that live radio broadcasts of this event drove listener tune-in, making the medium a premiere destination for play-by-play coverage.”

“As advertisers look to capitalize on next year’s Mexican National Team and CONCACAF Gold Cup live matches, the top properties in soccer on the radio has shown to deliver large numbers of listeners with every game,” We now have solid radio results that agencies and advertisers alike will be able to use and add the games to their plans with confidence. We always knew our broadcasts of live matches produced appointment listening for our affiliate partners, and now we have the proof for the FDP Radio Network Group with amazing results as per the Arbitron Custom study, says Andrés Cantor, Fútbol De Primera Chairman.
