Aspiring Young Urban Latino Artist In Reality Show @ mun2 television .

mun2 television will capture the nation’s young Latino market with its new reality-series, “La Familia Perfecta” (The Perfect Family). The one-hour daily show will profile the lives, efforts, challenges and accomplishments of six different up-and-coming artists as they leave their homes and families to pursue their dreams. Production for “La Familia Perfecta” begins within the next few weeks, and the show is scheduled to launch first quarter of 2005 on mun2.

The new series will bring to life the immense trade-off that exists for reaching success in the music industry as a group of developing artists experience the truth behind tour groups, managers and the consequences of spending too much time on the road with people you don’t always like. The artists will be profiled from different places including Texas, New York, Los Angeles and the Caribbean, and music genres that appeal to young Latinos such as Reggaeton, Spanish Hip-Hop, Pop and Bachata.

Viewers will have the opportunity of getting a close look into the lives of these artists as the cameras of “La Familia Perfecta” follow them from the moment they courageously step out of the safety of their own homes and families, to the anticipation of traveling to the labels, learning to compromise during the composition and selection of their songs, and dealing with the negative or positive reactions from the labels.

Excitement will grow as the up-and-coming artists begin their studio recordings, and viewers get a behind-the-scenes look into the photo shoots, music video shoots, press interviews and street marketing efforts to market their songs. In addition, artists at a higher level will be followed around as he or she sets off on a tour and learns to deal with fans, internal conflicts, politics, and personal struggles, as family and friends put on the pressure due to long distance, lack of time and communication.

The final episode of “La Familia Perfecta” will bring together all six artists to review their stories and find out who really has what it takes to make it in this demanding and competitive world. “La Familia Perfecta” is a co-production by Perfect Image Productions and mun2 television.
