Azteca America is proud have supported the 5th Annual El Paso Walk for Autism.

The event, held on April 27, attracted over 1,000 participants, with proceeds supporting the Autism Society of El Paso and autism awareness throughout the El Paso/Juarez/Las Cruces area.

Azteca America teamed up with its local affiliate, Azteca El Paso/Las Cruces, which airs on digital television channel 7.4. The channel is part of the KVIA digital family of television stations.

“We’re excited to have participated in the El Paso Run/Walk for Autism for the second consecutive year,” said Azteca America CEO Martin Breidsprecher. “It’s a great way to raise autism awareness in the community among children, families and professionals.”

“Azteca El Paso/Las Cruces is proud to be involved in this event,” said KVIA General Manager Kevin Lovell. “It’s important for us to be active in the communities we serve, and the Annual El Paso Walk for Autism is one way we can give back.”

“We could not be happier that Azteca America is helping us out yet again on the Autism Society of El Paso’s biggest event of the year,” said Adriana Trejo, from the Autism Society. “It is with their support that we are able to continue to spread autism awareness and acceptance in our community, and to provide much needed programs and support groups to El Paso families who have a loved one affected by autism.”
