McGraw-Hill Broadcasting announced the debut of Azteca America Colorado to Spanish speaking audiences across the Front Range.
Azteca America Colorado is now broadcasting Spanish-language programming to cities along Colorado’s Front Range for both over-the-air and cable reception. The broadcast signals can be received over UHF channels in Denver KZCO-27, Northern Colorado (Ft. Collins/Greeley) KZFC-36, and in Colorado Springs/Pueblo KZCS-23.
In addition, Azteca America Colorado has partnered with Comcast cable in delivering the local television signal to cable subscribers throughout Denver on channel 51, and in Pueblo on channel 99.
Darrell Brown, Vice-President and General Manager of KMGH-TV said, “Considering the explosive growth of Colorado’s Hispanic population, providing television content for Denver’s bilingual and Spanish speaking audiences is very exciting.”
Natalie Quaratino, Director of Operations for Azteca America Colorado added, “Our partnership with the Azteca America Network provides us with quality, culturally relevant programming for our viewers. Combining the popularity of the Azteca America brand with the resources of KMGH/Denver’s 7, we can offer this underserved Colorado audience fresh entertainment and exclusive sports options. In the near future, our plans include a local news commitment.”
