Azteca America presents Premios PREMMUSA.

The biggest stars in Mexican regional music are coming out this Saturday, November 20 as Azteca America broadcasts in exclusive the fourth annual Premios PREMMUSA awards ceremony at 8 pm / 7 C. Performing at the festive gala will be: Alacranes Musical, Conjunto Primavera, La Número 1 Banda Jerez, Priscila y sus Balas de Plata and El Chapo de Sinaloa, among other Mexican regional music greats.

Hosting the sensational event is one of the most beautiful women in Spanish-language television, Maritere Alessandri, host of Al Extremo, accompanied by the charming actor and television host Fernando Arau.

We are confident that audiences will enjoy with their families a night full of stars, glamour and lots of music,” said Alberto Santini Lara, Executive Vice President of Programming, Production, and Marketing for Azteca America and General Director of Azteca 13 and Azteca Novelas.

The fourth annual Premios Premmusa awards ceremony will be a star-studded gala event, beginning with the red carpet arrivals of such luminaries as Alicia Villarreal, José Manuel Figueroa and his father Joan Sebastian, Roberto Tapia, Carmen Jara, Tony Meléndez, Alacranes Musical, Banda Jerez, Los Amos de Nuevo León, Lalo Mora, Priscila y sus Balas de Plata, El Chapo de Sinaloa and many others.

The event also features Ventaneando America’s Atala Sarmiento, one of the most charismatic and enchanting hosts of Spanish-language television, who will accompany presenters during the important evening.

The event will award the top performers in the duranguense, banda, norteño, and tropical music categories, among other awards for a total of 20 different categories. Also featured will be a performance from Nadia, a former participant of La Academia and a nominee for a Premio Oye award. She will close the night in style with some of her biggest hits.

In recognition of their long and successful careers, Premios Premmusa will also honor with special awards the musical group La Mafia and singer Paquita la del Barrio, affectionately known as the queen of the masses.
